29 CFR 1926.651(h)(1): Employees were working in excavations in which there was accumulated water, or excavations in which water was accumulating, and adequate precautions had not been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation. (a) 2004 Irma Circle, Ocean Springs, MS - On or about May 25, 2017 two employees were in an 8 foot deep trench, relocating a sewer pipe, while standing in approximately 1 foot of water that was leaking from the sewer pipe. Employees were exposed to struck by and entrapment hazards.
