29 CFR 1910.28(b)(11)(i): Each employee exposed to an unprotected side or edge of a stairway landing that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was not protected by a guardrail or stair rail system: a) Molding department - On or about April 21, 2017, employees working on platform #3 going up and down the fixed stairway to retrieve the powder were exposed to falling up to 6' to the concrete floor below in that the stairway platform was missing a midrail. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
