29 CFR 1910.217(b)(7)(iii): A means of selecting Off, "Inch," Single Stroke, and Continuous (when the continuous function is furnished) were not supplied with the clutch/brake control to select type of operation of the press by means capable of supervision by the employer. A) Maumee Assembly & Stamping, LLC, located at 920 Illinois Avenue, Maumee, OH 43537: On or about January 20, 2017, the employer did not ensure that the means of mode selection between single and continuous stroke was capable of being supervised by the employer on the Verson BLK1 mechanical power press (Model # S4-1500-186-108T, Serial # 24680, 1500 Ton). Employees were exposed to amputation hazards during operation in continuous mode.
