29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) The employer is failing to protect employees from exposure to chemical hazards. This was most recently documented on or about January, 20, 2017 at the jobsite located at or near Lot 27 on North Baltimore Ave. in Kansas City, Missouri. The employer did not provide training for the recognition, evaluation, and control of exposure to chemical hazards used on the jobsite. Employees are exposed to hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to Weldon "Blue" glue, Oatey glue, and Oatey primer for joining plastic sewer pipes
