Employees performing roofing work at elevations of six feet or more above the ground are not being protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system: The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on December 9, 2016, at Lot 8, 1222 Park Hollow Lane, Lawrenceville, Georgia, when four employees installing asphalt shingles on a 10/12 slope roof failed to attach a lifeline to their harnesses and were exposed to a fall hazards of approximately 11.1 feet to 25 feet or greater.
