29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields: a) Automatic Welders 313 and 678 - On November 16, 2016, Interlake Mecalux, Inc. did not ensure that other persons adjacent to the automatic welding areas were adequately protected from rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields. Interlake Mecalux, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 943084, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on January 31, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 1600 N. 25th Ave., Melrose Park, IL 60161. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
