29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i): Non-self-supporting ladders were not used at an angle such than the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder way approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder (the distance along the ladder between the foot and the top support): a- Left Side of House, Block 14802, Lot 89, 6 Mimosa Court, Sicklerville NJ: On or about 10/06/16 worksite company employees were exposed to fall hazards when utilizing an aluminum extension ladders whose rise to run ratio was not 4 to 1 and, as such, was not having an angle of approximately 75 degrees from the horizontal . Condition observed on or about 10/06/16. b- Accessing Porch Roof, Block 14802, Lot 89, 6 Mimosa Court, Sicklerville NJ: On or about 10/06/16 worksite company employees were exposed to fall hazards when utilizing an aluminum extension ladders whose rise to run ratio was not 4 to 1 and, as such, was not having an angle of approximately 75 degrees from the horizontal. Condition observed on or about 10/06/16 NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
