29 CFR 1910.178(p)(3): Spillage of oil or fuel shall be carefully washed away or completely evaporated and the fuel tank cap replaced before restarting engine. a) Terminals A East, A West, B, and C - The employer did not ensure that the standing level of the beltloaders were carefully washed or completely evaporated when oil and fuel was spilled exposing employees to falling hazards. Observed on or about 15 AUG 2016 and 22 NOV 2016. American Airlines was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.178(p)(3) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1019469, citation number 1, item number 2c and was affirmed as a final order on 17 APR 2015 with respect to a workplace located at 8000 Essington Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19153
