29 CFR 1926.352(b): Employer did not implement positive means to confine the heat, sparks and slag, and to protect the immovable fire hazards from them. In The Alternative 29 CFR 1910.252(a)(1)(ii): Employer did not establish guards to confine the heat, sparks, and slag, and to protect the immovable fire hazards. On or about August 12, 2016 and at times prior thereto, on the Seaway Header at Sunoco Logistics Plant in Nederland, Texas; the employer did not ensure guards including but not limited to fire blankets and/or curtains were set up to confine the sparks and slags from welding operations.
