29 CFR 1926.350(a)(8): When work is finished, when cylinders are empty, or when cylinders are moved at any time, the cylinder valve shall be closed. a. On or about August 4, August 9, and August 11, 2016 located throughout the former Columbus Municipal Light Plant, employees left propane bottle valves open after cutting and burning work had been completed, thereby increasing the risk of fire and explosion.
