29 CFR 1926.1101(h)(1)(iv): Respirators were not used during all Class II and III asbestos jobs where the employer had not produced a negative-exposure assessment. On or about July 6, 2016, an employee working at the site of Exelon Power Plant located in Morris, IL was exposed to asbestos containing material while encapsulating piping containing thermal system insulation and the employer did not ensure respiratory protection had been worn when a negative-exposure assessment had not been conducted. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
