Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety & Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that, employees were exposed to serious crushing injuries in the event of a vehicle roll over. Betty's Neck Farm: The John Deere JD 544-A front end loader was not equipped with seat belts. One method, among other methods, to correct the condition is to install seat belts in the vehicle and enforce their use.
