29 CFR 1910.165(d)(1): The employer shall assure that all employee alarm systems are maintained in operating condition except when undergoing repairs or maintenance. At the jobsite the employer did ensure alarms systems were maintained in operating condition. The facility fire alarm system has been malfunctioning for approximately 3-4 months resulting in false alarms that expose employee(s) to potential fire hazards.
