29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that employees acquired the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage and removal of energy control devices: Liqui-Box Corp. - Ashland, Ohio: On or about February 23, 2016, the employer did not ensure employees who setup and/or maintain the blow molding presses were adequately trained in the skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of energy controls. Operators that performed servicing tasks such as, but not limited to, replacing washers were not trained to isolate and/or render energy sources safe.
