29 CFR 1910.107(b)(5)(i): There were no visible gauges, audible alarms or pressure activated devices installed in paint spray booths to indicate or ensure that the required air speed was maintained. Filter rolls were not inspected to ensure proper replacement of filter media: a) The manometers for the powder coating and paint standalone spray booths were not operational on June 9, 2016. b) The exhaust duct filtering material was not correctly installed in the powder coating standalone spray booth on June 9, 2016. There were large gaps between the filtering material and the spray booth wall. The large gaps allowed the powder coating material to collect in the exhaust duct.
