29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tank cars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: Gas Storage Area, Wyman Gordon, 244 Worcester Street, Massachusetts; On May 20, 2016 the employer stored LP gas tanks along with oxygen tanks at the gas storage area. This violates Compressed Gas Association CGA P-1 section 3.3.3 which has been incorporated by reference in the 29 CFR 1910, stating that flammable gases should not be stored near oxidizing agents.
