29 CFR 1926.600(a)(3)(i): Bulldozer and scraper blades, end-loader buckets, dump bodies, or similar equipment were not fully lowered or blocked when being repaired or when not in use: a) Worksite - 5 Alger Rd, Kings Point, NY: Employees were preparing a site for the installation of a retaining wall using an Takeuchi - TB125 - Compact Excavator. Employees were working under and adjacent to the raised excavator bucket. The excavator was not in use and the raised bucket was not blocked; on, or about, 05/09/2016. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
