29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) On or about 04/18/16, at the site of 69-14 Eliot Ave. Middle Village, NY Employees replacing a steep roof with a ratio of 5 in 12 were not provided with fall protection exposing them to a fall hazard of approximately 22 ft. to the lower level. b) On or about 04/18/16, at the site of 69-14 Eliot Ave. Middle Village, NY Employees replacing a lower roof were not provided with fall protection exposing them to a fall hazard of approximately 8 ft. to the lower level. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
