29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: (a) On April 15, 2016, the employer did not ensure that materials stored on the third level of the racking system as the box spring mattresses, and pallets containing materials and equipment extended beyond the depth of the rack creating an overhang were not blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that the stored materials were secured against sliding, collapse and/or tipping over. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
