29 CFR 1910.269(c)(1)(i): In assigning an employee or a group of employees to perform a job, the employer shall provide the employee in charge of the job with all available information that relates to the determination of existing characteristics and conditions required by paragraph (a)(4) of this section. a. The employer did not provide the employee in charge electrical circuit drawings or other relevant information needed for determining whether conductors to be removed from Cooling Tower conduit were disconnected and de-energized. The failure to obtain adequate circuitry information prevented the briefing transfer of needed information such as the nominal voltage on lines and equipment to be removed during the demolition process.
