29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents. The employer does not ensure that its employees use eye and face protection when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury. This violation occurred most recently on or about November 23, 2015, when employees on the roof of a newly built single family dwelling were observed operating pneumatic nail guns without eye protection. QUICK ROOFING, LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 796001, CITATION NUMBER 1 ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JUNE 11, 2013 WITH A FINAL ABATEMENT DATE OF DECEMBER 19, 2012, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 5509 DIMEBOX DRIVE, MCKINNEY, TX 75071.
