29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet or more above the adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded by standard railings (or the equivalent as specified in 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(3)(i) through (v): a) On or about October 25, 2011, and at times prior, employees were exposed to falls approximately 26 feet while working on the drill rig floor in that, the V-door was left open. Helmerich & Payne International Drilling Co., dba H&P, Inc.,, was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.23(c)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection 314162272 citation number 1 item 1 issued on 05/05/2011, and became a finial order on 5/16/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 2614SR 49 East, Coudersport, PA 16915.
