29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: (a) Machine Shop: On or about July 28, 2015 and at times prior thereto, compressed air for cleaning exceeded 100 p.s.i.g.. This condition exposed employees to air embolism hazards when the air nozzle is dead-ended to the skin. (b) Fabrication Shop: On or about July 28, 2015 and at times prior thereto, compressed air for cleaning exceeded 100 p.s.i.g..
