29 CFR 1926.451(b)(5)(i): The end of a platform 10 feet or less in length, extended over its support more than 12 inches:Note: Does not apply if the platform was designed and installed so that the cantilevered portion of the platform was able to support employees and/or materials without tipping or had guardrails that blocked employee access to the end: (a) Brunswick construction site, platforms were not properly secured so that the cantilevered portion was able to support employee when engaged in masonry work activities, without tipping, creating a fall hazard when working on corners.
