29 CFR 1926.856(a): Floors or working surfaces were not of sufficient strength to support the imposed load of mechanical equipment: a) Francis J. Palo, Inc. / Route 219 Pennsy Bridge, Ridgway, PA: On or about June 19, 2015 and times prior thereto, the employer parked a Cat 235C excavator weighing approximately 101,800 pounds onto the South portion of the closed North bound lane of the State Route 219 Bridge over Elk Creek (Pennsy Bridge) without ensuring the bridge had sufficient strength to support the additional imposed load.
