29 CFR 1926.62(i)(3)(ii): The employer shall assure, where shower facilities are available, that employees shower at the end of the work shift and shall provide an adequate supply of cleansing agents and towels for use by affected employees. a. On or about September 22, 2011, at the above addressed jobsite, employees conducting sandblasting operations were exposed to lead at 5.7 to 98.7 times the established permissible exposure limit of 50 ug/m3. The employer failed to ensure that employees showered at the end of the work shift.
