29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about 5/15/2015 at 2149 Fothergill Drive in Evans, Georgia: Employees engaged in wood framing on the single-family home were exposed to fall hazards at heights up to 21 feet 6 inches to the ground level. The employer failed to protect the employees from fall hazards such as but not limited to: 1. Open sides, and ends on the first and second levels of the home. 2. Door opening on the first level of the home. 3. Several window openings were missing a top rail on the first level of the home. 4. Basement floor opening on the first level of the home.
