Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(v): The safety monitor had other responsibilities which could take the monitor's attention from the monitoring function: On or about 4/28/2015, at 1530 Joy Lane, Decatur, GA; where the measurement of the parapet walls were 2 CMU's high (approximately 26 inches), two employees performing roof sealing activities and were observed as being exposed to: a. 33 foot falls to the scaffold walking boards below, or b. 43 feet, one and one half inch (1.5") falls to the lower level if beyond scaffold below, or c. approximately 27 foot impalement hazards below on the tips of the ladder jack scaffolds where the monitor was performing tasks other than monitoring.
