29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): Electrical equipment had damaged parts that may adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that are broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating. a) Wood shop area- Employee was using a Delta radial saw that had a damaged electric cord; on or about 1/7/15. b) Chair builders area- Employees were using a Ryobi drill that had a power cord that had a damaged cord; on or about 1/7/15.
