29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii) a- 12 Montclaire Road, Lot 19, Medford NJ: An employee, not wearing any fall protection, was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 10 feet 2 inches to the ground surface below when performing roof sheathing installation and other related activities from a roof with a pitch of approximately 7 on 12. This employee, as well as other worksite company employees, had not received fall protection training from the company. Condition observed on or about 02/12/15. IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
