Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to THE HAZARD OF INRUNNING NIP POINTS/OR BEING CAUGHT BY MOVING BELT: a)GREEN SAND DEPT., CONVEYOR SYSTEM CONSISTING OF SEVEN CONVEYORS, ON OR ABOUT 09-27-97: THERE WERE NO STOP (PULL) CORDS ALONG THE CONVEYOR SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH ANSI B20.1-1947, SECTION 11-1101b. ABATEMENT NOTES: AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO INSTALL STOP CORDS.L
