29 CFR 1910.179(l)(2)(i)(d): Before adjustments or repairs were started on a crane, warning or "out of order" signs were not placed to be visible from the floor on either the crane, the floor beneath the crane, or on the crane hook. On or about September 6, 2019, employees preforming maintenance on an overhead crane from a scissor lift approximately 24 feet above the floor were exposed to fall and struck-by hazards when the employer failed to ensure that sufficient warning signage was utilized on the crane, the floor and/or the crane hook.
