29 CFR 1910.1025(i)(1): The employer did not ensure that food or beverage was not present, or consumed; tobacco products were not present, or used and cosmetics were not applied in areas where employees were exposed to lead in excess of the permissible exposure limit: a) In the Welding and Fab Shop, on or about October 17, 2023 - The employer did not ensure that a Machine Operator not have present or consume a beverage while operating the Bodor Laser. The Machine Operator was exposed to lead above the permissible exposure limit while cutting stainless steel with the Bodor Laser which resuspended previously settled particulate containing lead from cutting honeycombs coated with tin lead solder on the Bodor Laser.
