29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(i): Selection of appropriate respirators was not based on the respiratory hazard(s) to which the worker was exposed and user factors that affect respirator performance and reliability: (Construction Reference 1926.103) Location: 2324 East Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06705 - On or about September 7, 2022, the employer did not ensure that employees wore respiratory protection with a minimum assigned protection factor (APF) of 25 when completing tuckpointing for four or more hours as required in 29 CFR 1926.1153 Table 1, Task xi. Employees had been wearing N95 particulate respirators with an APF of 10.
