29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees were working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards and were not provided with electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body that needed to be protected and for the work being performed: a. Site- On or about November 12, 2024, an employee operating an aerial device near energized secondary powerlines operating at up to 240 volts and energized primary powerlines operating at up to 34.5kv was not protected from electric shock where insulated gloves and sleeves were not worn. b. Site- On or about November 12, 2024, an employee operating an aerial device near energized primary powerlines operating at up to 34.5kv was not protected from burns where protective clothing for the upper and lower body, rated for the arc flash potential that they were exposed to, was not worn.
