29 CFR 1910.134(k)(1): The employer did not provide effective training to employees who were required to use respirators: a) Patient Care: The employer required all employees to wear respirators throughout their shifts at work. The employees were required to work with confirmed positive and suspect COVID19 residents. The employees were not instructed on topics such as, but not limited to, care of respirators, extended use of respirators and seal checks. Violation occurred on or about 3/14/2020 and after.
