29 CFR 1910.134(k): The employer did not provide comprehensive, understandable training which did not occur annually and/or more often if necessary: (Construction Reference 1926.103) Employees engaged in masonry activities were exposed to health hazards. Employees required to wear respirators while mixing mortar were exposed to health hazards in that the employer had not provided comprehensive and understandable training to each employee prior to requiring the use of respirators.
