29 CFR 1910.213(i)(1): Non-working portion(s) of the blade of bandsaw(s) were not enclosed or guarded: a) A & D Wood Products, Inc., Elida, Ohio: On or about August 21, 2014, the employer did not ensure that the unused portion of the blade on the Baker Products Baker Band resaw was guarded to prevent inadvertent contact. A discharge chute was removed from the side of the saw, which exposed employees to the rotating blade.
