29 CFR 1910.134(h)(1): Respirators were not cleaned and disinfected using the procedures in Appendix B-2 of 29 CFR 1910.134 or equivalent procedures recommended by the respirator manufacturer: (Construction Reference 1926.103) The employer does not ensure that employees are provided with respirators that are clean, sanitary and in good working order. This violation occurred on or about April 28, 2012, at a residential home under construction where an employee was exposed to dermal hazards when wearing a 3M full face respirator contaminated with dirt, residual foam and oil when spraying foam insulation.
