29 CFR 1910.134(k)(3):Training was not provided prior to requiring employees to use a respirator in the workplace: a. Production Area: On or about June 5, 2025 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to respiratory hazards, in that employees were required to wear NIOSH approved, 3M brand, half facepiece and N95 filtering facepiece dust mask respirators while spray painting or using epoxy and had not received respirator training. b. Installing signs in the field: On or about June 5, 2025 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to respiratory hazards, in that employees were required to wear NIOSH approved, 3M brand, half facepiece and N95 filtering facepiece dust mask respirators while installing signs by drilling into concrete walls and had not received respirator training.
