29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iii): The employer did not provide effective training on the measures employees can take to protect themselves from hazards in the workplace, including specific procedures to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures, and personal protective equipment to be used: (a) On or about July 12, 2024, and at times prior, an employee was exposed to chemical hazards including but not limited to, Champion Liquid Chlorinator (Sodium hypochlorite, CAS # 7681-52-9, 10-20%) and Liquid Acid (Sulfuric Acid, CAS # 7664-93-9, 36-37%) where appropriate Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) were not maintained and the employee was not provided with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at 2340 Hanson Road in Jefferson, Wisconsin.
