29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed. a. On or about January 4, 2024, the employer did not ensure that an annual periodic inspection was performed of energy control procedures and a review of each covered employee's responsibilities for employees performing service and maintenance activities on the U.S. Industrial Machinery Hydraulic Shear Model US825. These activities include, but are not limited to, setup, changeover, maintenance, and cleaning. b. On or about January 11, 2024, the employer did not ensure that an annual periodic inspection was performed of energy control procedures and a review of each covered employee's responsibilities for employees performing service and maintenance activities on the Nisshinbo HIQ-1250 CNC Punch Press. These activities include, but are not limited to, setup, changeover, maintenance, and cleaning. c. On or about January 11, 2024, the employer did not ensure that an annual periodic inspection was performed of energy control procedures and a review of each covered employee's responsibilities for employees performing service and maintenance activities on the PH Hydraulic Punch, Model OGF30. These activities include, but are not limited to, setup, changeover, maintenance, and cleaning.
