29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. a) At 568 Tiger Trail, Lot 100 Wyndham Village, Opelika, Alabama: On or about August 30, 2022 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform brick laying activities from a scaffold without first ensuring his employee was trained on the hazard associated with scaffolds such as but not limited to setting up and inspecting scaffolding exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 12 feet 2 inches to the ground below.
