29 CFR 1910.134(k)(1)(vi): The employer did not ensure that each user could demonstrate knowledge of recognizing medical signs and symptoms that could limit or prevent the effectiveness of the respirator: a) On or about April 17, 2020, Greystone Healthcare Management Corp. did not ensure that each employee required to use N95 filtering facepiece respirators could demonstrate knowledge of recognizing medical signs and symptoms that could limit or prevent the effectiveness of a respirator. Employees taking care of residents and assisting residents with activities of daily living in the 1200 and 1300 wings of the facility were required to wear respiratory protection including, but not limited to, 3M 8200, SH9550 N95, SH9550C N95, or SH9550A N95 filtering facepiece respirators.
