29 CFR 1910.178(l)(3)(ii)(I): Powered industrial truck operators shall receive initial training in the workplace-related topics for other unique or potentially hazardous environmental conditions in the workplace that could affect safe operation: World Class Distribution, Inc. warehouse at 1510 Cargo Ct., Minooka, IL - on or about November 13, 2019, the employer failed to provide electric pallet jack operators with initial training in safe operation of the vehicles while using the voice recognition headsets required for regular order picking tasks. Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards likely to result in serious injury. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
