29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: a. On or about June 26, 2019, employees working on coating line two were not provided specific Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) training as to the location of power sources, type of LOTO devices required for machinery being serviced and or cleaned and methods of verifying the stored energy has been released, thus exposing employees to severe lacerations and amputations hazards.
