29 CFR 1926.1101(f)(3)(i): The employer failed to conduct daily monitoring that was representative of the exposure of each employee assigned to work in regulated areas and performing Class I or II work: The employer is failing to prevent employee exposure to asbestos hazards associated with abatement and removal activities. The condition was most recently observed on or about November 2nd, 2018 at the facility located at 137 Hale Library, Manhattan, KS 66506. The employer did not preform any daily monitoring to determine the levels of airborne asbestos during operations of removal and clean up of ACM. Employer engaged in mechanically chipping and pulverizing tile without wet methods as well as dry sweeping debris.
