29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that employees acquired the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage and removal of energy control devices: a) Machine Shop - On or about November 6, 2017, the employer did not ensure an employee performing the servicing and maintenance task of filing debris from the chuck jaws of the Mori-Seiki Lathe Machine, model #SL-25B, serial #3775, was trained as an Authorized employee to acquire the knowledge and skills needed for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls.
