29 CFR 1910.1025(e)(1)(i): For any employees exposed to lead above the permissible exposure limit for more than 30 days per year the employer did not implement engineering and work practice controls (including administrative controls) were not implemented to reduce and maintain employee exposure to lead. a) H Hansen Industries located on the Lewis J Kuber Barge docked at 600 Millard Avenue Oregon, OH, 43616, on or about March 24, 2017 the employer did not implement engineering controls to reduce and maintain employees exposure to lead, for employees exposed for more than 30 days per year. An employee, working as a welder within the Lewis J Kuber Barge, was overexposed to lead at a time weighted average of 0.374 mg/m3 (748% of the PEL). Overexposure to lead can cause anemia, weakness, and kidney and brain damage.
