29 CFR 1910.147(d)(1): The authorized employee did not have knowledge of the type and magnitude of the energy, the hazards of the energy to be controlled, and the method or means to control the energy before the authorized employee turned off the machine or equipment: (a) On or about November 14, 2016 foil press operators cleaning the foil press machines did not have knowledge of the various types of energy utilized by the machines, including hydraulic and pneumatic, exposing foil press operators to hazards associated with the unexpected release of hazardous energy.
